This qualification course is intended for learners who are already working in the capacity of supervisor, manager, team leaders or those who are preparing to start work at this level and gives them the knowledge of health and safety.
The course provides learners with a comprehensive guide into understanding of the requirements of health, safety, and welfare; the benefits of a health and safety management system; the risks and control methods for common workplace hazards; the principles of risk assessment and incident investigation.
Upon completion of the course which includes obtaining a pass mark on a multiple-choice exam, learners will receive a Highfield Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace. This qualification has been developed and is awarded by Highfield Qualifications and sits on the regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The RQF is a qualification framework regulated by Ofqual and CCEA Regulation. The qualification is also regulated by Qualifications Wales.
Highfield currently provides around 80% of all regulated level 3 health and safety in the workplace qualifications. This three-day course will cover a range of topics including the legalities involved in health and safety at work, implementing a safety management system and identifying and responding to workplace hazards.

What Level of learning is right for you?
Level 1: This qualification course will offer learners a basic introduction of the key principles of Health and Safety.
Level 2: A level 2 course is suitable for anyone wanting to feel more confident with implementing Health and Safety in the workplace. This course is our most popular for workplace training in environments such as offices and shared workspaces.
Level 3: This comprehensive three-day qualification course offers an in-depth overview and will increase your knowledge around a variety of Health and Safety topics. This course is most popular for more senior members of a team including supervisors and managers.
