Our FAIB LEVEL 3 AWARD IN FIRST AID AT WORK course is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. The learner will gain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of workplace first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary and community activities.
This 3-day qualification course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. All learners will gain a range of skills and knowledge to provide Emergency First Aid support in the way of providing treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner.
Our first aid at work course takes a minimum of 3 days in a classroom environment to complete. The course consists of practical and theoretical activities.
First aid training gives yourself the confidence and ability to react immediately to an incident, injury, or illness.
First aid training also helps learners to be more conscious of safety in the workplace, leading to a reduced number of accidents and injuries. Minimizing risk to workers and decreasing workplace incidents is a benefit to everyone, but for employers it has implications within all aspects of business operations. All employees become more safety aware, helping to bring down the number of accidents.

All course materials, assessment and certificates will be supplied by the Buddy Training Team.
Learners can expect continuous observation with practical and theoretical assessments throughout.
All certificates are valid for 3 years from completion of the course.
For our trainer to visit your workplace please ensure you have space on your site for a classroom course to run (a conference/meeting room). Parts of the course involve physical demonstrations and will require learners to use the space around them.
